Indian Premier League (IPL 4) kicked off on Friday with a colourful IPL 4 opening ceremony with 10 IPL team captains.
"Over the past three seasons IPL has brought up the best cricketing talents from across the world. It is an opportunity for domestic players to work towards the national cap. The last season saw breakthrough performances from youngsters and we are hoping for fresh talent emerging from this edition," said Manohar at the IPL 4 opening ceremony ahead of the match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
